Shanghai, March 27 (Gasgoo.com) Anhui Jianghuai Automobile Co. Ltd. (JAC) plans to enter the minicar market after its Binyue and Tongyue sedan models successfully penetrating the middle-class and A0-class car markets, Beijing Times reported today. The company will launch an A00-class minicar this year in order to enrich its product lineup.

The model will start volume production and be launched at the end of this year. An executive of JAC told the reporter on March 24.

As the same class model with the BYD F0 and the Geely Panda, the vehicle will make its debut at the 2009 Shanghai Auto Show in April. JAC will release several brand-new models, such as the JAC BMPV and the JAC B926.

The JAC BMPV is a small-size family MPV and will compete against the Dongfeng Nissan Livina, while the JAC B926 is a compact family car. Noticeably, these two models are developed on the same platform.
