PARI teams up with French co for auto assembly solutions

Precision Automation and Robotics India (PARI) has formalised a collaboration with Cinetic Assembly, France to develop, manufacture, and provide solutions for automotive assembly, including overhead conveying & electrified monorail systems (EMS) system solutions in India.

The collaboration is likely to generate revenues of Rs 300-500 crore in the next five years, said senior officials.

PARI and Cinetic will offer cost effective solutions through local manufacturing, engineering & service support. PARI will also offer conveyor & EMS systems, manufactured under licence from Cinetic.

"The synergy between the two companies provides us and our customers a win-win situation as world-class assembly lines will now be available at cost-effective prices. The growth in automotive manufacturing in India offers us a huge potential for business growth in this area," said Mr Govind Oza, Director of business development at PARI.

Currently, PARI is the largest robotics and automation solutions provider for the manufacturing industry in India and exports its solutions to international customers such as Caterpillar, Honeywell, Emerson, Dow Corning, American Axle Manufacturing, Hitachi Metals, Alfa Laval, and Fanuc Robotics.

The company's cost effective and indigenous solutions have enabled Tata Motors, Maruti, Suzuki Motors, Ashok Leyland, Toyota Kirloskar, Bajaj, Hero Honda, TVS, and their component suppliers, to gain competitive advantage in their manufacturing processes.

PARI began operations in Pune in 1990 and grossed revenues of Rs 110 crore in 2006-07.
