Car company collapse won't hurt Holden

From abc.net.au/news| April 16 , 2007 10:13 BJT

Holden says the collapse of a Victorian car parts supplier will have no immediate effect on its South Australian plant.

Coghlan and Russell Engineering at Geelong has halted production and stood down 49 workers.

The company made parts for a company that supplies Holden with catalytic converters and other components.

Holden says it is monitoring the situation but production is expected to continue as normal in Adelaide.
