Poland: Automotive exports set to reach another record in 2007

In 2006, Poland's automotive export sales rose by 22.3% from the year, totalling EUR 14.08bn, according to figures from the Polish Automotive Industry Chamber (PIM).
Automotive export sales to the Ukraine posted record growth last year, rising by 145% to EUR 580m, helped by local automaker FSO, which supplies complete vehicles and assembly kits.

PIM says 2007 is going to be an even better year for the Polish automotive industry, with export sales set to top EUR 15bn.
