Activist New York investor Karim Samii continues to pile up shares in Visteon Corp. On Tuesday, June 12, Samii disclosed that he boosted his holdings in the auto supplier to 23.5 million shares, or 18.1 percent of Visteon’s outstanding stock.
Over the past year, Samii’s investment fund, Pardus Capital Management LP, has emerged as the largest shareholder of the suburban Detroit company. Last October, Pardus controlled 14.1 percent of Visteon’s stock.
