Spy photo exposed, New Geely Yuanjing is expected to be launched at the end of year

A set of spy photos for new Yuanjing are exposed previously. It’s noticed that the current model of Yuanjing was launched in November of last year, while the on-coming new model reminds us of Geely’s annual sales target of 2m units in 2020.

It’s seen from the picture that New Yuanjing will continue to use Geely family’s new back grille design. Small adjustments have been found on the headlights, showing sharp lines. The new model’s rear bumper and tail-lights also show obvious changes, displaying a sporting image.

No official data on the power information has been published. But it is expected the new model will continue to equip with 1.5L naturally aspirated engines and 1.3T turbo-supercharged engines. The 1.5L engine has maximum power and torque of 109 horsepower and 140NM respectively, while the 1.3T engine has maximum power and torque of 133 horsepower and 185 NM. The 1.5L model will equip with 5-speeed MT or 4-speed AT gearbox. The 1.3L engine will equip with 6-speed AT gearbox. It’s know that the new may be launched at the end of this year.
