FAW Car faces personnel adjustments, with Meng Xianghui taking Cui Dayong’s place

Shanghai July 27th, 2017 Gasgoo-Recently, FAW Car released its earnings pre-announcement, predicting that the net profit in the first half of year may reach RMB 270m to 330m. News comes out that FAW Car will conduct a new round of personnel adjustments. Cui Dayong, the current CEO of FAW Car Sales Company, will take the place of CEO of FAW Service and Trade Co. Ltd., while Meng Xianghui, Vice General Manager of FAW-Volkswagen Sales Company will take Cui’s position.

According to relevant regulations in FAW Group, the above position transfers belong to normal personnel changes. It’s also revealed that FAW Car will officially release relevant information in the coming days.

Cui Dayong has worked for almost ten years in FAW Group. He was appointed as Minister of Comprehensive Management Department of FAW-Toyota, General Manager of FAW-Hongqi Sales Company, Vice General Manager and General Manager of FAW-Car Sales Co. Ltd. respectively. During his service period, he witnessed and promoted the growing of Besturn brand, as well as joining in the renaissance of Hongqi brand.

Meng Xiang once took the position of Vice General Manager of FAW-Jiefang Auto Sales Co. Ltd. and FAW-Volkswagen Sales Company. His new position will provide him with a difficult task of lifting self-independent brands’ sales volume.
