Shanghai, August 26 (Gasgoo.com) Youngman Automobile Group Co. has announced that Wang Shunsheng will be appointed as the new general manager of Youngman Automobile Sales Co. in a conference with national dealers held in Hangzhou on August 12.
Yongman, China's leading luxury commercial car maker, told autosina.com recently that Cui Wei, former general manager of Youngman’s sales company, had been detained on August 7 on charges of receiving illegal fees in the recruitment of new dealers.
The quick response made by Youngman to enhance its management of the sales group increased dealers’ confidence in Youngman vehicles. In the conference, Youngman also announced that it will launch five passenger car models by the end of 2009 and develop new SUV and MPV models.
Youngman is already a popular manufacturer of luxury commercial vehicles in China, and the successful acquisition of an operation license from Chinese authorities has allowed the brand to develop passenger vehicles since 2004.
In November 2006, Youngman signed strategic cooperation with Britain’s automaker Lotus and the two companies jointly launched a race car RCR in January 2008.
