Shanghai, August 29 (Gasgoo.com) Rohens, a Chinese edition of Genesis, Hyundai Motor’s latest luxury sedan model, will go on sale in China on September 23, priced at 40,000 yuan or less, said cheshi.net.
The Rohens will be available in a 3.3L configuration and a more powerful 3.8L variant, said Hyundai Motor (China) sales executive to reporters. He also said Rohens, scheduled to go on sale in July, was postponed to enter China on September 23 due to the Beijing Olympics on August 8-24 and China's possible consumption tax hike on big cars.

Sales of Rohens will be conducted by Hyundai's 4S stores, targeting 2,000 to 3,000 units annually.
At a price of about 40,000 yuan ($5,770) or less, Rohens will be competitive in the Chinese market, said Zhao Yonghuan, marketing director of Hyundai China.
