Shanghai, April 20 (Gasgoo.com) Chery Auto unveiled the price of A3 car equipped with automatic transmission and a B-segment hatchback called the Riich M1 at the Auto Shanghai 2009 on Monday.
Chery A3 AT
The Chery A3 AT will carry a dealer's price between 92,800 yuan (US$13,582) and 102,800 yuan depending on different configurations. Both the sedan and hatchback version will be powered by a 2.0L engine.
Chery A3AT Hatchback
The Chery A3 MT was launched to the market in late September 2008, followed by A3 hatchback MT in January 2009. Monthly sales for the car amount to 5000 units since launch. Therefore encouraged by robust sales, Chery has lifted monthly sales goal for A3 model to 100,000 units this year.
Chery Riich M1
Riich M1 is powered by Chery developed ACTECO V4 1.3L engine generating a maximum power of 63kw/6000rpm. It has a maximum torque of 122nm/3500—4000 rpm, better than its QQ series. The M1 will be sold at between 42,800 yuan and 59,800 yuan.
Chery's car sales fell to 356,000 units in 2008 from 381,000 of a year earlier. The company aims to sell 419,000 cars in 2009.
