China by itself is the company's number one seller in the Asia Pacific region, with 212 cars sold, double-figure annual growth and the 500-owner ceiling reached in 2008.
Ferrari has established the first Ferrari China Owners' Club. The company will introduce Pilota, the first Ferrari driving course to be staged in the country. The Italian automaker has been present in China since 2004 through its joint venture with China Poly Tech Co. Ferrari's Chinese dealership network covers ten cities.
The Ferrari California, which is the latest addition to Ferrari's line-up of high performance 8 cylinder engine range, made its world debut at the 2008 Paris Motor Show. The stunning and svelte designed car has set new standards in terms of technological innovation and design.
The first batch of the Ferrari California cars have already been delivered in Europe, while deliveries in markets outside Europe will start in June 2009.
