Shanghai, October 15 (Gasgoo.com) China's battery and car maker BYD Co said on Wednesday it sold a record of 44,000 vehicles in September, up 88 percent from a year earlier.
This brought BYD's total sales for the first nine months of 2009 to nearly 300,000 units, the company said in a statement.
BYD reiterated that it expects to sell 400,000 cars this year and to manage annual sales exceeding 10 million by 2025.
