Shanghai, July 25 (Gasgoo.com) Lexus GS450h is expected to be introduced to China next year as the fourth hybrid model by Toyota following Prius, LS600hl and RX400h, Beijing News reported yesterday.
The premium hybrid GS 450h is equipped with a variety of luxury sports configurations such as the multipurpose steering wheel, and high-performance MT/AT transmission.

The GS 450h is powered by a 3.5 L V6 engine which produces 339 hp (253 kW), allowing the model to accelerate to 100 km/h in 5.2 seconds. The powertrain, close to the 4.5L V8 engine in performance, thus won the name "450h" for the model.
This powertrain makes use of D4-S double Fuel Injection system by combining direct fuel injection and traditional port fuel injection (PFI) to achieve fuel economy. The hybrid powerplant can generate up to 341hp when using direct injection system at heavy load.
