Sales volume of GWM exceeds 100,000 units in September and WEY sells more than 10,000 units

Shanghai (Gasgoo)-GWM released its latest output and sales report on the night of Oct. 10, showing that it sold 102,037 units in September with a year-on-year growth of 4.46%. The total sales volume reached 705,506 units from January to September this year, growing 2.25% compared with the same period last year. Haval SUV models have a total sales volume of 584,200 units from January to September. The total monthly sales volume of the VV7 and VV5 models under the new brand WEY reaches 12,013 units in September. Newly-launched Haval SUV M6 shows steady growth with the sales volume achieving 6,790 units.

SUV models sold 89,768 units in September with a year-on-year increase of 2.44%. The sales number of Haval SUV models grows 33.94% to 77,755 units. In the meantime, sales volume of pickups also increases greatly in September with the number of 11,317 units, growing 44.61% month-on-month and 38.76% year-on-year. Cars still perform badly, and only C30 sold 952 units in September. Mainstream model Haval H6 sold 45,161 units in September with monthly growth of 15.36%, leading all SUV models despite of its year-on-year decline of 15.22%.

Supported by the good performances of the VV7, VV5, Haval M6 and pickups, GWM showed a monthly growth of 38.5% in September, coming closer to accomplish its annual sales target of 1.25 million units. It's expected that GWM will continue to sell well in the last quarter with the launching of new models.
