The all-new model will be powered by FAW Group’s self-developed third-generation 2.0T engine code-named 4GC20TD, of which the higher-power version is able to churn out 380 N·m torque peak, mated with a DCT400 dual-clutch transmission. The 0-100km/h sprint can be done within 8 seconds, according to data released by the Bureau of Environmental Protection of Changchun.

Besides, the lower-power version will be paired with the same transmission.

According to the design drawing exposed at the brand’s 60th anniversary, the all-new H7 may draw a lot of inspiration from some GT concepts. At the front face, a waterfall grille edged by a U-shaped LED light bar is extremely unmistakable. There is also the distinctive slender red trim, replacing the classic red flag on bonnet, stretches from the grille to the bonnet (which are similar to that of the Hongqi HS7). Compared with the existing H7, the all-new model looks more aggressive.

The exposed photos also suggest that the all-new H7 will feature a more smooth roof and C pillar than the outgoing model.

On the trunk of the rear end, an eye-catching glittering trim resembles the Tiananmen Tower, a symbolic building for Beijing.
