Chinese-spec Cadillac XT6 hits the market, priced from RMB419,700 to RMB549,700

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- The Cadillac XT6 was announced at the 2019 North American International Auto Show in January 2019. Then at the Auto Shanghai 2019 in April, SAIC-GM offered the first glimpse of the locally-produced version, which officially hit China’s market on July 18 with prices of its 5 variants ranging between RMB419,700 and RMB549,700.

The China-made XT6 has two trim levels: the Premium Luxury and the Sport. Externally, the Premium Luxury comes with more upscale chrome trims, while the Sport adopts more elements from Cadillac's V-series, including the black mesh-designed grille, high-shine black trims and smoked headlight cluster.

Additional standard exterior features include: vertical LED accent light bars, LED taillights, panoramic power sunroof and an exhaust layout with a single pipe on each side.

Inside the vehicle, the cockpit amplifies the exhilaration of driving. The 2+2+2 seating configuration of the cabin generates an overall sense of spaciousness. The dark leather-wrapped instrument panel center console is immediately noticeable to the vehicle's occupants.

The exotic wood interior panel is applied in the Premium Luxury model, while the Sport version features the carbon fiber and high gloss black accents.

Besides, the entire lineup of the locally-produced XT6 comes standard with such niceties as 3-zone automatic air conditioning system, fully automatic air circulation & monitoring system, air purifier that filters substances like particulate matter 2.5 and anion, 8-way power-adjustable front-row seats and heater in the front row.

The Chinese-spec Cadillac XT6 SUV features a 2.0-lire variable cylinder turbocharged engine that makes 241 horsepower and 350N·m of torque and satisfies China's Stage 6 Emission Standard.
