Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Chongqing Sokon Industry Group Stock Co.,Ltd (Sokon) and Huawei, a Chinese leading provider of information and communications technology (ICT) infrastructure and smart devices, agreed an agreement a few days ago to extend cooperation in new energy vehicle (NEV) area.
The latest collaboration, aiming to power the development of intelligent-connected vehicles (ICV) for Sokon, embraces such fields as industrial Internet, ICT infrastructure as well as intelligentization and connectivity of NEVs.
Another move in the month for Sokon's deployment in ICV domain is the in-depth intelligent cooperation made with Chinese Internet giant Alibaba Group on January 11.
With over 30-year experience in automotive industry, Sokon has set up several R&D centers and experiment centers focusing on core technologies related to intelligent electric vehicle industry in four countries. SF Motors, the Silicon Valley-based EV maker, is its subsidiary. Zhang Xinghai, Chairman of Sokon, stated that forming partnership with Huawei is to provide users with more efficient and convenient EVs and smart mobility services.
In addition, the Chongqing-based company said the marketing innovation improved with its new vehicle manufacturing modes will be more responsive to users' requirements in vehicle selection, purchase, utilization and maintenance, and will speed up the iteration and upgrade of consumers' experience.
