Changan Auto partners with Chinasoft International for auto industry digitalization

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Chongqing Changan Automobile Co.,Ltd. (Changan Auto) and Chinasoft International Limited (Chinasoft International), a Hong Kong-listed software and information technology services provider, recently formed a strategic partnership to co-boost digital transition for the automotive industry, according to an announcement Chinasoft International issued on Aug. 25.

Under the agreement, both parties will co-work on the software innovation for intelligent-connected vehicle (ICV)-related full-scenario mobility services, which pivot on 5G technology, Internet of Vehicles (IoV) big data, intelligent cloud, intelligent cockpit, smart mobility, and other smart services.

The duo will also co-develop an IoT information security solution to collaborate on the software platforms related to cloud services and industrial Internet in such scenarios as automotive after-sales services, car lifestyle, OTA and V2X.

For digital transition, Changan Auto and Chinasoft International will team up on corporate digital operation, mining and application of big data, data management, cloud computing, digital market, and digital innovation. Their joint efforts will be made to boost Changan Auto's digitalization in various fields including office works, marketing services, R&D, production, supply chain, and risk control.

Moreover, the two parties will co-work on the development, operation, and maintenance of domestically built software databases and relevant middleware, jointly explore the development of China-made IoV operating system and application software, and co-promote the building of an automotive software innovation center.
