Aiways teams up with Hesai Technology to promote LiDAR application
Beijing (Gasgoo)- China’s electric vehicle maker Aiways has officially entered into a strategic cooperation agreement with Hesai Technology, China’s advanced laser radar manufacturer, to promote the scale application of automotive-grade LiDAR.

Aiways and Hesai will work closely to develop hardware equipment, software algorithms, and smart assistance driving systems, and to accelerate the application of advanced assistant driving systems to more scenarios. By virtue of Hesai’s hybrid solid-state LiDAR solution, Aiways will be powered by a much more advanced intelligent assistance driving system.
On August 13th, Hesai Technology debuted its auto-grade hybrid solid-state LiDAR for ADAS, the AT128.
Aiways and Hesai Technology will explore a safer, more precise, and more convenient advanced assistant driving perception technology. By virtue of the hybrid solid-state LiDAR, both parties hope to lead the breakthrough of the intelligent vehicle industry.
In the past two months, Hesai Technology announced partnerships with several major players in China’s auto industry, including Li Auto, and Baidu’s JiDU Auto, Baidu’s Apollo, and Horizon.
