FAW VW delivers 3,516 ID. vehicles in August
Beijing (Gasgoo)- Monthly retail sales of FAW Volkswagen's ID. models managed to see substantial growth for a second consecutive month, indicating the products are gaining more popularity among consumers and that the marketing strategies have achieved initial impact.
In August, FAW Volkswagen (FAW VW), one of Volkswagen’s joint ventures in China, sold a total of 3,516 ID. vehicles. Here, the number refers to AAK retail sales, namely the deliveries to consumers.
All ID. models, including those from FAW VW and SAIC VW, have seen obvious sales increase in the past two months. According to the China Passenger Car Association, the combined retail sales of all ID. models achieved a new milestone with monthly volume exceeding 7,000 vehicles in August, after surpassing 5,000 in July.
Based on Volkswagen’s all-electric platform MEB, the ID. models are very competitive in vehicle quality, range, and space arrangement. To ensure vehicles’ safety in a comprehensive way, ID. vehicles’ battery pack has gone through 197 safety tests as well as extremely strict long sequence tests.
