WM Motor to launch first sedan model M7 in late October
Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Chinese EV startup WM Motor unveiled on Oct. 18 the teaser photo of its first sedan model “M7” and said the new car model will make its global premiere on October 22.

According to the automaker, the M7 is also the first model of WM Motor's “Master” series, which is designed to offer users disruptive product experience through cutting-edge technologies and ingenious aesthetics.
Positioned as a full-sized all-electric sedan, the WM Motor's M7 features a wheelbase that spans nearly 3 meters. It is armed with three LiDAR units to support high-level intelligent driving functions and promise users safe and highly efficient smart mobility experience. Besides, the car will carry automotive chips capable of 500-1,000 TOPS computing power.

The M7 is the mass-produced version the Maven, a concept model WM Motor unveiled in May 2020. Previous reports said the M7 would inherit the signature design elements of WM Motor's vehicles, including the closed-off grille and the light strip running across the car's front.

Photos leaked earlier show that the M7 retains part of interior design cues of the Maven concept. The differences will be known after the model is officially launched.
The M7 is likely to feature WM Motor's third-generation Living Motion E-powertrain that allows an electricity consumption of 14kWh/100km and a NEDC-rated range of up to 800km, according to local media reports.
