The UNYX 07 is offered in Pure and Pure SE trims, with official starting prices of 129,900 yuan and 139,900 yuan respectively, while limited-time promotional pricing begins at 109,900 yuan.

Meanwhile, the updated UNYX 06 is also available in Pure and Pure SE variants, priced at 149,900 yuan and 159,900 yuan, with temporary promotional pricing starting from 134,900 yuan.

Both models debut Volkswagen's self-developed CEA electronic and electrical architecture, the automaker's first zonal control platform specifically engineered for the Chinese market.

Compared with traditional distributed vehicle architectures, the system reduces the number of onboard controllers by approximately 30% and consolidates vehicle functions into four major control zones, including a central computing platform, two body-control domains, and an independent intelligent driving module.

Volkswagen said the simplified architecture improves system responsiveness and reliability while enabling over-the-air software upgrades to be completed in as little as 30 minutes without interrupting vehicle operation.

For advanced driver-assistance development, Volkswagen and Horizon Robotics have established the CARIZON joint venture to support localized software and intelligent driving development.

The partnership covers core processes including AI model training, data collection, and virtual scenario simulation. Using the GAIA world model, the platform can generate fully virtualized driving environments and has reportedly completed more than 100 million km of simulation testing alongside 300,000 km of real-world road validation.

Both the new UNYX 06 and UNYX 07 come standard with highway navigation assist functionality, enabling autonomous lane changes, overtaking, and ramp entry or exit maneuvers on highways and urban expressways.

The UNYX 07 measures more than 4.85 meters in length with a wheelbase exceeding 2.8 meters, positioning it as a coupe-inspired electric SUV.

The model features a fastback roofline and rising shoulder profile, while the integrated liftback tailgate supports hands-free opening and programmable height memory.

Cargo capacity reaches 711 liters in standard configuration and expands to 1,580 liters with the rear seats folded flat.

Inside, the UNYX 07 adopts a wraparound digital cockpit accented with gold trim details. The steering wheel combines physical buttons with roller-style controls, while integrated sport seats featuring UNYX branding come standard across the lineup.

The cabin is built around a four-screen interactive system consisting of a 10.25-inch instrument cluster, a 15-inch center display, a 12-inch 2K passenger entertainment screen, and a 27-inch augmented reality head-up display.

Additional features include a 1.6-square-meter panoramic roof with powered opening and a physical sunshade, an AI voice assistant capable of four-zone voice recognition and semantic reasoning, and UWB-based smartphone digital key functionality supporting automatic unlocking and vehicle startup.

The UNYX 06, Volkswagen Anhui's first production vehicle introduced in 2024, also receives a series of updates for the 2026 model year while maintaining its existing pricing structure.

The refreshed model now delivers a CLTC driving range of up to 528 km and adopts upgraded infotainment hardware and operating systems integrated with a large-language-model AI assistant.

New standard features include the 27-inch AR head-up display, V2L external power discharge capability, a nine-speaker audio system, 50W front wireless charging, sentry mode, a built-in dashcam, and a 360-degree transparent chassis visualization system.

The two models share several underlying engineering characteristics, including a MacPherson front suspension and five-link independent rear suspension tuned by Volkswagen's German engineering team.

Both vehicles feature a near 50:50 front-to-rear weight distribution and a minimum turning radius of 4.7 meters.

Volkswagen said high-strength and ultra-high-strength steel account for more than 80% of the body structure. The vehicles have undergone more than 120 crash evaluations, including rollover and severe offset collision scenarios beyond standard regulatory requirements.

Volkswagen Anhui currently operates sales networks across more than 100 Chinese cities, while its public charging network covers over 360 cities nationwide.

Its aftersales platform, UNYX Service, provides support functions including roadside assistance and AI-assisted damage assessment services.
