Shanghai (Gasgoo)- On January 13, AITO marked a major production milestone at the SERES Super Factory, where the brand's one-millionth vehicle officially rolled off the line. The milestone vehicle was an AITO M9, the brand's technology flagship, which on the same day also surpassed cumulative deliveries of 270,000 units.

The achievement highlights AITO's rapid rise from inception to mass scale, positioning it as the industry's first brand built on deep cross-industry integration. Its growth from zero to one million vehicles is widely seen as proof that a new model combining automotive manufacturing and intelligent technology can achieve both scale and quality in China's fiercely competitive car market.

At the ceremony, Zhang Xinghai, chairman and founder of SERES Group, described the one-million-unit mark as a tangible validation of the cross-industry integration approach. He said the milestone reflects not only speed and scale, but also the ability to deliver one million vehicles positioned firmly in the premium segment and built to high quality standards.

Since 2021, SERES and Huawei have moved beyond conventional supplier partnerships to establish a deeply integrated collaboration spanning joint technology development, co-defined products, shared branding and coordinated sales channels. This industry-first model has enabled mutual reinforcement between vehicle manufacturing and intelligent technologies. In just 46 months, AITO has built a four-model lineup—M5, M7, M8 and M9—covering the mainstream premium price range from 200,000 yuan to 600,000 yuan and attracting more than one million users.

AITO has consistently positioned safety as its core brand value, applying what it describes as "five high standards" across its products, spanning safety, reliability, performance, quality and overall value. Backed by advanced intelligent technologies, the brand says its driver-assistance systems have supported users over more than 5 billion kilometers of driving, helping avert more than 2.6 million potential collisions to date.

Beyond products, AITO has built a nationwide smart service network, now approaching 400 service outlets across China. In 2025 alone, the company said it issued 250,000 proactive service reminders, reducing customer repair time by a combined 360,000 hours and reinforcing its promise of a safer, more premium and more intelligent ownership experience throughout the vehicle lifecycle.

Looking ahead from the one-million-unit milestone, AITO said it will remain guided by three core principles: putting users first, treating user pride as value and user safety as a priority, and consistently upholding safety as the ultimate form of luxury. The brand plans to further deepen its comprehensive strategic partnership with Huawei and aims to reach its second million vehicles within the next two years.

At the same time, AITO will advance the development of new models tailored to different markets while accelerating its overseas expansion. The company said its ambition goes beyond building premium vehicles, extending to delivering high-quality services to a growing base of high-end customers at scale.
