Gasgoo Munich- ARCFOX opened pre-orders for the αT7 T7 on August 26. It offers nine variants across pure electric and extended-range powertrains to cover a wide range of driving needs. With subsidies, prices range from 137,800 CNY to 174,800 CNY.

As a strategic flagship for ARCFOX's αT7 series, the T7 unites seven industry heavyweights: Huawei, CATL, Magna, the National Centre for the Performing Arts, Alibaba's Qwen, the Doubao Agent, and BAIC. This collaboration delivers seven standout core strengths: design, interior space, intelligent features, range, safety, handling, and advanced driver assistance.

"The αT7 T7 represents the most complete expression of the αT7 series to date," Liu Guanqiao, chairman of BAIC New Energy, said at the pre-sale launch. "It is an intelligent, large five-seater SUV. It offers more space than an FUV and better styling than a traditional SUV."

The arrival of the αT7 T7 is set to challenge conventional perceptions of mid-to-large SUVs — and even the large five-seater segment.

Measuring 5,020mm in length with a 3,040mm wheelbase and 1,996mm width, the αT7 T7 boasts a segment-leading 200-liter electric front trunk. It also features a 645-liter rear trunk that expands to 1,845 liters with the rear seats folded. The cabin has 36 storage compartments and achieves a space utilization rate of 88.8%.

The αT7 T7 is the first to feature Huawei's Qiankun ADS 5 Pro system, equipped with 27 sensors to enable highway NCA, urban NCA, and full-scenario intelligent parking. The urban NCA handles complex situations such as night-time roundabouts, mixed traffic with pedestrians, and construction zones. Additionally, buyers can opt for BAIC's proprietary Yuanjing Smart Driving system.

For AI interaction, the αT7 T7's Yuanjing AI cockpit integrates a unique system. It features a full-scenario, in-and-out-of-vehicle voice interaction system powered by Alibaba's Qwen and the Doubao Agent. Trip planning, ordering, and parking payments can be handled with a single voice command.

"Integrating large models into vehicles is no longer a choice of 'whether to do it.' It is a mandatory question that must be answered," said Li Qiang, vice president of Alibaba Cloud Intelligence Group and general manager of the AI automotive division. "With the global debut of Alibaba Cloud's Qwen Cockpit Flash Purchase Edition,' we are transforming the car from a tool that moves you from point A to point B into a mobile life robot. We will continue working with BAIC to steadily bring every aspect of Alibaba's ecosystem into your vehicle, scene by scene."

The pure electric version is powered by a CATL 84.8 kWh battery, offering a maximum CLTC range of 715 km. An 800V high-voltage supercharging platform comes standard, replenishing the battery from 30% to 80% in just 15 minutes. The extended-range version uses a CATL 43.9 kWh battery, providing 320 km of pure electric range and a combined range of 1,315 km.

At the event, ARCFOX announced Tian Xiwei and Stephen Fung as its global brand ambassadors. The αT7 T7 is now arriving at dealerships nationwide, where customers can experience the vehicle firsthand.
