Gasgoo Munich- DENZA put the N8L's BEV (battery electric vehicle) versiononto the market on September 14, offering two variants priced from RMB 299,800 to RMB 329,800. Previously available only as a PHEV (plug-in hybrid electric vehicle), the N8L now adds a BEV option to its lineup, targeting families seeking a large six-seat electric SUV.

The two variants differ mainly in their comfort and technology equipment. Compared with the entry model, the flagship adds intelligent powered doors, a welcome light projection, a zero-gravity front passenger seat, a 17.3-inch rear entertainment display, a digital rear-view mirror, a motorized pretensioning seat belt for the driver and an occupant-monitoring camera.
Exterior: Familiar design with additional color options
The N8L BEV retains the exterior design of the PHEV version. Its front fascia draws inspiration from the traditional Chinese character "門," pairing split headlights with wing-shaped daytime running lights and a large lower bumper. Flush door surfaces and concealed window trim are intended to improve aerodynamics and reduce cabin noise, while a full-width taillight echoes the styling at the front.

The six-seat SUV measures 5,200 mm long, 1,999 mm wide and 1,820 mm tall, with a 3,075-mm wheelbase. Three new exterior colors—Jinyao Ink, Winter Green and Chixia Ink—join Frost Cloud Ink, Snow Jade and Xuanjing Ink, bringing the total to six. Four interior color schemes are available: Coral Red, Amber Brown, Yunjin Beige and Platinum Sandalwood Grey.
Interior and space: Comfort features extend across all three rows
Cabin materials include Nappa leather, a microfiber suede headliner and backlit genuine-wood trim. The display array comprises a 13.2-inch instrument panel, a 17.3-inch central screen and a 13.2-inch front passenger display, complemented by a 50-inch augmented-reality head-up display and a digital rear-view mirror. The infotainment system runs on Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8295P chip. DENZA's "DiDiXia" AI agent is designed to interpret imprecise instructions, anticipate user preferences and perform multiple tasks while supporting vehicle-to-home connectivity, smartphone integration across multiple brands and lifestyle services.

All seats use a 10-layer Nappa leather construction. The driver's seat features active side bolsters that inflate while cornering, along with ventilation, heating and a 10-point back massage. The zero-gravity front passenger seat includes a four-way leg rest. Second-row individual seats offer ventilation, heating, massage and powered leg rests, as well as two folding tables. The third-row seats provide heating, powered backrest adjustment of up to 121 degrees and 100 mm of independent fore-and-aft movement.
The N8L BEV provides 6.11 square meters of usable cabin space and 1,306 mm of height from the floor to the panoramic glass roof, allowing children to stand and move inside. A 208-liter powered front trunk is exclusive to the battery-electric version and can be opened by tapping or using a foot gesture. It accommodates one 24-inch and one 17-inch suitcase, while a divider separates wet and dry items. The cabin contains 50 storage compartments, and the rear cargo area expands to 1,128 liters, supplemented by a 51-liter underfloor compartment.
Other equipment includes an 11-liter refrigerator with three access points, offering cooling from minus 6 degrees Celsius to 15 degrees and heating from 35 to 50 degrees. The vehicle also features 128-color ambient lighting, an in-car fragrance system, two 50-watt ventilated wireless chargers in the front and separate powered sunshades for the front and rear. Powered doors can be opened by gesture, while the tailgate supports hands-free activation.
E-powertrain, charging and chassis: 960-km range and nine-minute charging
The N8L BEV uses a 130.2-kWh second-generation Blade Battery and delivers a claimed CLTC range of 960 km. A single rear-mounted motor produces a maximum output of 370 kW.
FLASH charging capability is standard across the range, with DENZA claiming a 10%-to-97% charging time of nine minutes. At minus 30 degrees Celsius, charging from 20% to 97% is said to take 12 minutes.

The company said 10,000 FLASH Charging stations have been established nationwide, with the network scheduled to expand to 20,000 by the end of 2026. The second-generation Blade Battery has undergone simultaneous flash-charging and nail-penetration testing, thermal-propagation tests exceeding national requirements and underbody impact testing at 10 times the national standard, according to DENZA.
The chassis combines front double-wishbone and rear five-link suspension with the DiSus-A air suspension system and continuously variable damping control. Rear-wheel steering gives the vehicle a turning radius of 5.8 meters.
Driver assistance: God's Eye 5.0 with additional service coverage
The DENZA N8L BEV is equipped with the God's Eye 5.0 driver-assistance system, supporting highway and urban navigation-assisted driving, obstacle avoidance across multiple scenarios and automated U-turns. Customers purchasing the vehicle before May 28, 2027, will receive one year of coverage for incidents involving the urban navigation function. If the vehicle is responsible for damage during automated parking, DENZA says the case can be handled directly through its after-sales network without an insurance claim or an effect on the customer's following-year premium.
With the launch of the BEV version, the DENZA N8L lineup now offers both plug-in hybrid and fully electric powertrains. DENZA is positioning the new model for larger families seeking a six-seat SUV that combines extended range and rapid charging with three-row seating, extensive storage, an AI-powered cabin and advanced driver-assistance features.
