The Xinghai S7 REEV offers a 235km range on battery power alone, supported by Dongfeng's self-developed Mach Range-Extending System. This system combines five energy management modes—forced all-electric, all-electric priority, hybrid, fuel priority, and forced generation—optimizing energy distribution based on driving conditions to achieve a combined range of 1,250km.
The vehicle features a 160kW drive motor delivering 310N·m of peak torque for instant acceleration. Enhancements include an FSD adaptive suspension system, upgrading from the existing all-electric S7 model's McPherson front and five-link rear suspension. This system intelligently adjusts stiffness and flexibility for maximum stability across varying terrains.
Underpinning the S7 REEV is the Quantum full-stack architecture, incorporating a high-strength steel body structure with a usage ratio nearing 70%. Critical components like the A and B pillars use 1,500MPa hot-formed steel. The vehicle is equipped with the robust Armor Battery 3.0, offering resistance to extreme weather, pressure, and punctures. Additionally, it includes a 24-hour battery management system and the aerospace-inspired pentagram braking safety mechanism, which employs multiple independent systems to mitigate risks during braking system failures.
