Gasgoo Munich- Gasgoo Auto, citing the "Wuhan Economic Development Zone" WeChat account, reported that on April 28, the Wuhan Economic Development Zone Management Committee signed a cooperation agreement with Yi Pai Technology. The new Yi Pai Technology production base project will settle in the zone, bringing in several competitive new energy vehicle models.

According to reports, Yi Pai Technology serves as a key force in Dongfeng Motor's autonomous passenger vehicle and new energy operations, overseeing brands such as Dongfeng Yi Pai and Dongfeng Fengshen. The company has established five production bases and a network of over 1,200 sales and service outlets nationwide, with products reaching more than 40 countries and regions. In the first quarter of this year, Yi Pai Technology delivered 63,659 new vehicles, marking three straight months of steady growth and demonstrating strong momentum.
Designed as a flagship smart manufacturing base for new energy vehicles, the project will feature a benchmark smart factory that integrates vehicle manufacturing, R&D and testing, component support, and ecosystem collaboration. The facility will be equipped with full-process digital manufacturing systems and intelligent inspection gear, offering high flexibility to support the mixed-line production of multiple models and powertrain types. This setup is expected to significantly enhance production efficiency and product quality.
Under its roadmap, Yi Pai Technology will launch five new models in Wuhan this year and plans to roll out 15 new products over the next five years. These will target segments such as city off-road, urban operations, and autonomous driving, with the goal of exceeding an annual scale of 1 million vehicles by 2030.
Guided by its "3233" strategy, Yi Pai Technology aims to reach the 1 million-vehicle milestone within five years and break into the top three of the autonomous new energy passenger vehicle sector. Looking ahead to the "15th Five-Year Plan," the company intends to leverage the zone's industrial resources to refine its product, technology, industrial, and marketing layouts. By focusing on four key breakthroughs—creating hit products, strengthening the brand, optimizing channels, and precision marketing—Yi Pai Technology is pushing forward Dongfeng Motor's "Dongfeng Rising 2030" plan.
