Gasgoo Munich- GAC Toyota reported retail sales of 53,022 vehicles in October 2026, a 25.95% decline from the 71,604 units delivered a year earlier.
According to GAC Group's January-September production data, the joint venture sold 510,000 vehicles over the first nine months. This represents a 6.11% decline from 543,200 units a year ago. The steeper 25.95% drop in October suggests the sales squeeze is tightening.

New-energy and hybrid models accounted for over 75% of October's volume. The pure-electric lineup features the bZ3X and bZ7. The hybrid camp draws on the Camry midsize sedan, Sienna MPV, Highlander midsize SUV, and Wildlander compact SUV. All are equipped with Toyota's Intelligent Electric Hybrid Dual Engine system. These hybrids remain the brand's sales backbone, with the bZ series filling out the BEV share.
The bZ3X, a compact electric SUV, has surpassed 150,000 cumulative deliveries since its debut. It serves as the volume driver for GAC Toyota's BEV lineup. The automaker also previewed OTA updates for the bZ7 and bZ3X in November, promising refreshed infotainment and smart cabin features.
