The Monjaro name draws inspiration from Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest peak, symbolizing a relentless drive to climb and break boundaries. The EM-i badge further underscores its hybrid powertrain attributes. Together, they position the vehicle as a benchmark for high-quality driving in the global hybrid D-SUV segment, embodying a spirit of aspiring to new heights.
Built on the world-class GEA Evo new energy architecture, the Monjaro EM-i marks a milestone as Geely's first overseas model featuring millisecond-response e-AWD intelligent electric four-wheel drive. The vehicle achieves flagship-level breakthroughs across performance, comfort, intelligence, and safety.
Public records identify the Geely Monjaro as the overseas counterpart to the domestic Xingyue L. The model has already hit markets in Russia, the Middle East, Australia, and Latin America, primarily offering 2.0T internal combustion and hybrid powertrains. The newly introduced Monjaro EM-i will further expand this global portfolio.
