On the sales front, IM Motors delivered 10,023 vehicles in May 2026. Cumulative sales for the first five months of the year surged 115% from a year earlier. In terms of product lineup, the IM LS8 is currently in the delivery phase, while the IM LS6 "SAIC 100 Millionth Unit Limited Edition" continues to see strong demand.
On the network front, the company is accelerating its offline rollout. IM Motors plans to open 28 new stores nationwide between May and June. It has already launched 18 locations in May, with another 10 slated for June. This expansion is designed to bolster the brand's presence in key metropolitan and regional markets.
The 18 locations opened in May are spread across Tier 1, New Tier 1, and Tier 2 and 3 cities. Notable additions include three experience centers in Guangzhou (Xintang, Baiyun, and Panyu); two centers and user centers in Beijing (Tongzhou and Changping); and two experience centers in Tianjin (Meijiang and Binhai). Multiple outlets also launched in Hangzhou, Nanjing, Ningbo, Foshan, Jinhua, and Baoding. Furthermore, user centers and city spaces in Huainan, Lishui, Yongzhou, and Beihai have officially commenced operations.
Spanning "Experience Centers," "User Centers," and "City Spaces," these outlets reflect IM Motors' strategy of tailoring its channel approach to different city tiers. The rapid build-out of this network is expected to significantly strengthen the brand's market reach in the new-energy vehicle sector.
