Gasgoo Munich- IM Motors released its latest delivery figures on June 1. The company delivered 10,023 vehicles in May alone, pushing cumulative sales for the first five months of the year to 81,017 — a 115% jump from the same period last year.

Just days before the announcement, on May 28, parent company SAIC Motor marked a milestone with a ceremony in Shanghai celebrating its 100 millionth global customer. The event cemented SAIC’s status as the first Chinese automaker to surpass 100 million units in cumulative production and sales. IM Motors, playing a central role in this historic moment, used the occasion to debut its latest flagship, the LS9 Hyper.
As the vanguard of SAIC’s "100 million-unit era," the LS9 Hyper is packed with top-tier technology. It features a class-first, fully steer-by-wire four-wheel steering chassis and maxes out intelligent driving hardware with a 520-line LiDAR and an Nvidia Thor chip. Additionally, a full-domain 800V high-voltage platform paired with the "Stellar" super range-extender system signals IM’s entry into a new era of core EV components.
IM Motors is accelerating its market expansion to keep pace with surging orders. The company is rapidly scaling up its retail network: between April and May alone, it opened 44 new stores in key cities nationwide. This move strengthens its offline sales and service infrastructure, bringing the brand closer to its customers.
With the upcoming market entry of heavyweights like the LS9 Hyper, IM Motors' performance in 2026 is one to watch.
