Gasgoo Munich- Ionic Power held a ceremony on September 21 to celebrate its relocation and project completion. The company officially opened its new site, finalized its Wuhan R&D center, and launched its mass production base.

The company said this milestone marks the successful conclusion of its pilot phase challenges, ushering in a new development cycle defined by standardization, scaling, and industrialization. It represents a leap from technology piloting to mass production.
Going forward, Ionic Power will use its Wuhan headquarters as its R&D and management base. It aims to drive large-scale applications in consumer batteries, high-safety mining batteries, and satellite power systems. Professor Guo Xin, the company's founder and chief scientist, has long focused on solid-state battery R&D and industrialization.
With the Wuhan mass production base now operational, Ionic Power has taken a crucial step toward industrializing solid-state batteries. However, the pace of its capacity ramp-up and its success in market expansion remain to be seen.
