Leapmotor signed a strategic KD agreement with Myanmar's NPK MOTOR in November 2024. The partners brought two SKD models to market in 16 months. This culminated in the local rollout and delivery of the B10.
This milestone follows the C10's production start at the Gurun plant in Malaysia in August 2025. It marks another step in Leapmotor's Southeast Asian manufacturing push. The automaker holds a leading share of Myanmar's new energy vehicle market. Early adopters include business elites and industry leaders. Notable owners include the general manager of a major Yangon shopping mall and shareholders of prominent local firms.
The B10 is the first global model in Leapmotor's B-series. It is engineered for the climates and road conditions of Southeast Asia and beyond. Leveraging strengths in chassis tuning and high-temperature resilience, the vehicle meets global drivers' diverse demands.
Global expansion accelerated after Leapmotor formed a joint venture with Stellantis in 2024. By February 2026, Leapmotor International expanded into 40 markets. These include Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia-Pacific, and South America. It operates over 900 overseas stores. The company exported over 67,000 units in 2025. Cumulative exports passed 100,000 by the end of February 2026.
