Gasgoo Munich- Leapmotor released its delivery data for August 2026 on September 1. Global deliveries climbed to 103,129 units for the month, an 80.7% surge from a year ago, marking the third consecutive month above the 100,000 mark.

On the product front, the Leapmotor A05—a smart, compact sedan—officially launched on August 11. With comprehensive upgrades in styling, intelligence, handling, space, and safety, the model further enriches Leapmotor's youth-oriented portfolio. During the Chengdu International Motor Show, the brand displayed its full lineup and delivered the 100,000th A10 unit to a customer on-site.
On the brand front, Leapmotor generated 38.11 billion yuan in revenue in the first half, a record high for the period. Net profit reached 210 million yuan, extending a profitability streak to three consecutive half-years. Second-quarter gross margin rose quarter-over-quarter to 12.6%, reflecting steady improvement in operational quality. Meanwhile, Leapmotor signed a strategic cooperation agreement with China FAW to deepen collaboration across 10 areas, aiming to build a comprehensive partnership spanning capital, industry, products, technology, and ecosystem.
Regarding overseas expansion, the Leapmotor B10 and C10 global models officially entered the Argentine market, offering local consumers flexible new energy mobility options via proprietary range-extending technology. Localization efforts with Stellantis are also advancing. Additionally, Valentin Debise, a French professional racer and the first European owner of the Leapmotor Lafa 5, visited Hangzhou for an in-depth exchange with Chinese owners.
On the service front, the "Q&A" column for the Leapmotor A05 and D19 continues to be updated, providing timely answers to frequent questions about version selection, delivery status, and purchase incentives.
Leapmotor emphasized that while sales are the result, technology is the foundation. The company remains committed to full-domain self-research and deep in-house manufacturing. It will host its 2026 Technology Launch on September 16, unveiling world-model assisted driving capabilities that rank among the industry's first tier, alongside the latest breakthroughs in battery, motor, and control technologies. Concurrently, Leapmotor's "Million Acceleration Golden Autumn Promotion" is now live, offering limited-time benefits worth up to 57,379 yuan.
