Gasgoo Munich- According to figures released on June 1, 2026, Li Auto delivered 33,350 new vehicles in May — an 18.37% drop from a year ago and a slight 2.16% decline from April. While the company's cumulative deliveries have surpassed the 1.7 million milestone, reaching 1,702,792 units, the deceleration in monthly growth is drawing industry scrutiny.

In sharp contrast, the landscape for EV startups is fragmenting. Leapmotor led the charge with 81,569 deliveries, surging 81% annually. HIMA (Harmony Intelligent Mobility Alliance) delivered 46,122 units across its lineup, achieving growth in both year-on-year and month-on-month terms. NIO delivered 37,705 vehicles, jumping 62.3% to overtake Li Auto for the first time and secure a position at the front of the second tier. Meanwhile, Xiaomi EV held firm above the 30,000-delivery threshold for a second straight month.
Amid fierce competition, Li Auto must accelerate its breakthroughs in pure-electric model deployment and intelligent technology iteration. As the new product cycle begins in Q3, the ability to regain growth momentum will serve as a critical test of the company's systemic capabilities.
