The V9 marks the first MPV introduced under Harmony lntelligent Mobility Alliance, Huawei's collaborative smart vehicle ecosystem, and officially hit the market on May 15. The model is offered in four trims — Max, Max+, Ultra, and Ultra+ — with prices ranging from 389,800 yuan to 519,800 yuan ($53,900-$71,900). Customer deliveries are scheduled to begin in early June.

The model had already built momentum during the pre-sale period, attracting more than 40,000 preliminary reservations before launch. LUXEED said the V9 collected 7,000-unit orders within the first two hours after sales opened, while premium trims accounted for more than 80% of total bookings, highlighting strong consumer acceptance of its upscale positioning and technology-focused feature set.

The V9 is powered by a 1.5-liter range-extended hybrid system and offers a CLTC-rated combined driving range of 1,320 kilometers. Across the lineup, the vehicle comes standard with four LiDAR sensors, Huawei's Qiankun ADS platform, rear-wheel steering, and dual zero-gravity seats in the second row.

Inside, the cabin features a triple-screen cockpit layout alongside a 21.4-inch roof-mounted entertainment display. The vehicle also integrates HarmonyOS-based ALPS Health Cockpit 3.0 technology and an onboard oxygen-generation system designed to enhance passenger comfort during long-distance travel.

Dimensionally, the MPV measures 5,359 mm in length, 2,009 mm in width, and 1,879 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,250 mm. Its seven-seat configuration positions the V9 squarely in the full-size flagship MPV category.

The strong initial order performance reflects the growing competition in China's high-end new energy MPV market, where models such as the Li MEGA and Zeekr 009 have also gained significant traction. Backed by Huawei's smart driving and cockpit technologies, the LUXEED V9 is attempting to differentiate itself through a combination of intelligent features, luxury-oriented equipment, and large-cabin practicality.
