Gasgoo Munich-MHero announced on May 26 that its Strategic Partnership 2.0 with Yinwang is officially underway. Separately, the new MHero M817 will open for pre-orders on May 29.

On May 19, Dongfeng's MHero and Yinwang held a launch ceremony for their comprehensive deepening Strategic Partnership 2.0. Top executives from both sides attended, including Dongfeng Group Chairman Yang Qing, MHero CEO Wan Liangyu, Huawei Rotating Chairman Eric Xu, and Yinwang CEO Jin Yuzhi. At the event, Xu bestowed the title of "Huawei Qiankun Full-Stack Native Co-creation Gold Team" on the joint group, and both parties signed the 2.0 agreement. Under the roadmap, the first phase will cover five models, with the first scheduled for mass production this year.
The partnership has already yielded several technical breakthroughs. On April 20, MHero unveiled a next-generation intelligent off-road architecture, upgrading the "Panshi" Chassis 2.0 and "Jimeng" Powertrain 2.0 to boost comfort and efficiency in traditional rugged off-roaders. Together, the parties introduced eight intelligent off-road technologies, including the Huawei Qiankun NCA Off-road Version and HUAWEI XHUD Off-road Version. Future MHero models will be among the first to feature Huawei Qiankun ADS 5, equipped with full-dimensional collision avoidance CAS 5.0 and door-to-door functionality 3.0.
On the product front, MHero has established a full-scenario matrix as the exclusive partner for Huawei's full-stack intelligent solutions in the off-road sector. After establishing their strategic partnership in 2024, the first collaborative model—the MHero M817—hit the market in 2025, rolling out its 10,000th unit just four months later. This year, MHero plans to introduce five new models in the initial phase, with the first slated for mass production in 2026 to expand its portfolio.
Regarding ecosystem development, MHero has fully adopted Huawei's IPD and IPMS processes, spanning the entire chain from product definition to marketing and service. The jointly built MHero 001 flagship store in Wuhan has opened its doors, and the two parties have established a "Joint Innovation Laboratory for Intelligent Off-road Technology" in partnership with CATARC.
