Gasgoo Munich-Li Auto’s first global model — the new L9 intelligent flagship SUV — has officially launched in Kazakhstan. The L9 Livis is priced at 51.9 million tenge, while the L9 Ultra comes in at 43.99 million tenge.
On July 24, Li Auto announced that cumulative deliveries of the L9 have surpassed 300,000 units, ranking first in registrations among full-size SUVs in China. As the L9 continues to set domestic sales records, the company is extending the flagship's influence globally.
Recently, Li Auto attended a Kazakhstan-China roundtable held in Shanghai. During the event, the company struck a strategic partnership with Allur, a leading Kazakh automotive group. The two sides will launch localized assembly at Allur’s Kostanay plant, making Kazakhstan the first country outside China to mass-produce Li Auto vehicles. From the launch of its first overseas-exclusive model to the start of local production, Li Auto has built a comprehensive system. This system covers R&D, product, manufacturing, and sales services in overseas markets.

"Central Asia is a crucial starting point for our globalization," said Ma Donghui, co-founder, president, and chief engineer of Li Auto. "The new L9 reinforces flagship value with more advanced technology. Through official channels and local partners, we are committed to providing long-term, comprehensive services for families in Kazakhstan. Witnessed by President Tokayev, our strategic agreement with Allur marks a new stage from export to localized production. This milestone will enable us to better serve local users in the long run."
Since kicking off its globalization strategy in 2025, Li Auto has entered markets including Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Egypt, and Macau. The company plans to expand further into Southeast Asia — including Cambodia, Laos, and Myanmar — later this year. Simultaneously, it is accelerating its entry into the Middle East by signing with top dealers in the UAE and Saudi Arabia.
Looking ahead, Li Auto will deepen its global footprint and refine its overseas ecosystem. In the Middle East and Central Asia, the company will focus on family users with its L-series extended-range vehicles. It plans to launch pure electric models in Europe in the second half of the year. The right-hand-drive version of the Li Auto MEGA will enter key Asia-Pacific markets like Hong Kong and Singapore by year-end. From Central Asia to the Middle East, Southeast Asia to Europe, Li Auto is leveraging its systematic global capabilities to deliver high-quality smart mobility experiences for families worldwide.
