Under the agreement, Ningbo Sunrise intends to subscribe to a portion of Leadrive Technology's future initial public offering. The companies will also establish a priority cooperation mechanism for core electric drive components. Additionally, they plan to jointly develop structural parts for robotic joints and components for solid-state transformers, while coordinating their efforts to explore the European market.
Operationally, the two companies share clear synergies. Ningbo Sunrise specializes in precision components, with automotive electronics as a key segment, and has recently expanded into emerging fields such as robotics and AI servers. Leadrive Technology, meanwhile, has long focused on NEV power control, with products covering control units, power modules, and power bricks. It is gradually extending its power electronics technology into scenarios like robotics and data center power supplies.
The significance of this partnership lies in the potential for the relationship to evolve from supply chain integration to capital and technical collaboration. However, the current agreement remains a framework. With businesses like robotics and solid-state transformers still in the industrial expansion stage, it is uncertain whether they will yield designated projects, mass production orders, or actual revenue.
Ningbo Sunrise also explicitly stated that this agreement will not have a material impact on the company's operating performance for the current year. Overall, the collaboration leans more toward medium-to-long-term strategic positioning, offering limited immediate boost to financial results.
