Gasgoo Munich- NIO Inc. delivered 35,836 vehicles in August 2026, an increase of 14.5% year over year. Deliveries comprised 21,174 vehicles from the NIO brand, up 101.2%; 8,810 from ONVO; and 5,852 from FIREFLY, up 34.7%.

From January through August, NIO Inc. delivered 262,893 vehicles, representing year-over-year growth of 57.9%. The NIO brand contributed 160,670 units, up 64.5%; ONVO delivered 61,428 units, up 13.2%; and FIREFLY delivered 40,795 units, up 180.3%. Cumulative deliveries across the company's three brands have reached 1,260,485 vehicles.
Several NIO models reached delivery milestones during August. Cumulative deliveries of the all-new ES8 surpassed 140,000 units within 335 days of its launch, while the ES9 deliveries exceeded 20,000 units after 73 days.
ONVO delivered the 110,000th L60, while cumulative FIREFLY deliveries surpassed 80,000 vehicles. NIO said the milestone further strengthened FIREFLY's position in the premium compact-car market.
The limited-edition FIREFLY “Heart of Summer” also went on sale, with production capped at 666 units. It is priced at RMB 135,800 with the battery included or RMB 95,800 under the Battery as a Service (BaaS) subscription plan.
NIO completed its 4,000th battery swap station—and its first fifth-generation station—in Quanzhou, Fujian province, on August 7. The first group of fifth-generation stations also began operating that day in seven cities, including Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou.
The latest stations are compatible with all models sold under the NIO, ONVO and FIREFLY brands. As of September 1, NIO Inc. had built 9,306 charging and battery swap stations across China and completed more than 120 million battery swaps.
