The milestone pushes the model's first-year deliveries to 150,000 units, setting a fresh sales record for pure EVs in the 400,000-yuan class.

Retail sales of the new ES8 reached 10,991 units in August 2026, keeping the model atop both the large-SUV segment and the 400,000-yuan tier. The vehicle also scored 85.3 in 2026 First-Half New Energy Vehicle Brand Health Study, claiming the highest net promoter score among all pure EVs.
Steady deliveries of the ES8 are speeding the large-SUV market’s shift toward pure electric power. From January through August 2026, sales of large three-row pure EVs hit 259,900 units — leading all powertrain types for 7 straight months. Since the new ES8 began deliveries in September 2025, large three-row pure EVs have outsold their extended-range rivals for 12 consecutive months.
In August 2026, large five-seat pure EVs overtook extended-range models for the first time to lead all powertrains, notching a fifth straight month of sequential growth. By August, pure EVs claimed a 44% penetration rate in the large-SUV market — up 2.4 percentage points from July and 23.1 points from a year earlier.
