Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Porsche recently kicked off the presale of its new Taycan model's RWD (rear-wheel drive) version in China, setting a starting price of 928,000 yuan.

Regarding the front end, the mid-cycle refresh of the Porsche Taycan adopts a more streamlined exterior design with two sets of parallel lines, headlight clusters and air intake designs, coupled with a combination of upper and lower daytime running lights, presenting an more aggressive aesthetic.

Besides, the new Taycan's elongated front end and flowing fastback silhouette shift the visual focus to the rear, while the air intakes on the fenders and doors add a sporty touch.
In terms of dimensions, the new Taycan RWD measures 4,963mm in length, 1,966mm in width, and 1,379mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,900mm. Despite being nearly 5 meters long, it is paried with a low profile under 1.4 meters.
As an all-electric vehicle model, the new Taycan is equipped with a protruding rear bumper and a large black protective plate.

Inside, the model features Porsche's latest family design layout, with an arc-shaped digital instrument cluster and an embedded central control screen. Regarding the center console area, the model enjoys a vertical screen that enables vehicle function controls, while the cabin's minimalist design eschews physical buttons for a streamlined and tech-forward aesthetic.
Notably, the model will come standard with the Sport Chrono package, adaptive air suspension, front and rear radars, 360-degree camera, matrix LED headlights, BOSE audio system, and rear privacy glass among other features.
Under the hood, the new Taycan RWD boasts a rear-mounted electric motor with a maximum output of 408 horsepower. It can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.8 seconds. With an 89kWh battery pack, the model achieves a CLTC-rated range of 604km. The model also boasts regenerative braking with a peak power of 400 kW.
