As the first model in Lynk & Co's new "Sport Touring" category, the 07 GT draws on the brand's seven-year, nine-title legacy in TCR racing. Armed with hardware like supercar-derived MRC magnetic suspension, the EM-P hybrid system, and standard LiDAR across the lineup, it aims to carve out a distinct edge in the 150,000 to 200,000 yuan wagon segment.
From TCR to Rally: Seven Years of Racing Heritage Feed Mass-Production Chassis
The chassis system is the 07 GT's core differentiator against its peers. It features MRC magnetic suspension—a technology previously reserved for supercars like the Chevrolet Corvette and Ferrari Daytona SP3—making its debut in the mass-market wagon segment.
The system works by instantly altering the viscosity of magnetorheological fluid under a magnetic field. With a suspension response time of 1 millisecond and a total system adjustment time of just 10 milliseconds—roughly 10 times faster than CDC continuous damping suspension—the dampers adjust every 2.7 centimeters of wheel travel at 100 km/h.
On paper, the MRC suspension offers a damping adjustment range of up to 10,000 N (at 1 m/s)—about 4,000 N more redundancy than CDC systems. This wider bandwidth allows for more extreme tuning at both ends of the comfort-handling spectrum. Lynk & Co's proprietary deep-learning algorithms use body sensors to detect road features up to 15 meters ahead—including speed bumps, potholes, and corners—to pre-emptively adjust damping strategy.
In a moose test conducted by the China Automotive Technology and Research Center (CATC) under special conditions, the 07 GT achieved 82.1 km/h with a roof box and 81.9 km/h while towing, verifying the MRC suspension's stability under load.
For braking, the car employs large 360 mm diameter, 30 mm thick discs with four-piston sport calipers. The calipers use a symmetrical layout for synchronized clamping, ensuring linear force output relative to pedal pressure. A CST comfort braking function actively releases pressure just before a full stop to suppress nose dive. The moose test score reached 85 km/h, outpacing the NIO ET5T (81 km/h) and Audi A4 Avant (80 km/h).
These chassis tuning figures are backed by Lynk & Co's long-term TCR investment. Since 2019, the brand has secured 9 world championship titles, 43 race wins, and 132 podium finishes. Suspension calibration, damping settings, and posture control data from the track are systematically fed back into mass-production development, creating a closed loop from track to street. Lynk & Co announced that starting in Q3, the 07 GT will serve as the official race car for rally events, testing performance on unpaved surfaces like mud and gravel.
The powertrain features the EM-P hybrid system. The 1.5T Evo engine uses a 350-bar direct injection system for 47.26% thermal efficiency, delivering 120 kW and 255 N·m. Fuel consumption in WLTC depleted mode is 5.08 L/100 km for the two-wheel-drive version and 5.46 L/100 km for the all-wheel-drive. The P3 motor produces 180 kW and 350 N·m, while the AWD version adds a P4 rear motor (90 kW/150 N·m) for a combined 390 kW and 765 N·m, enabling a 0-100 km/h sprint of 5.5 seconds. A 28.3 kWh battery supports over 200 km of CLTC pure electric range for the 2WD model (170 km for AWD), with a total range of 1,422 km. A 75 kW DC fast charger takes the battery from 30% to 80% in 14 minutes.

In high-speed highway scenarios, the EM-P system holds an efficiency advantage over pure electric or extended-range setups. Even in depleted mode, the engine can drive the wheels directly without power loss. The 3DHT transmission keeps the engine in its efficient range—a benefit that becomes more apparent during continuous climbs or sustained highway cruising compared to single-gear hybrid solutions.
Standard LiDAR Across the Lineup: Expanding Scenarios to Cover All Travel Needs
Lynk & Co adopts a unified hardware strategy for the 07 GT's intelligent driving. Every model comes standard with a LiDAR sensor offering 200 meters of detection range, sub-5 cm precision, 192 lines, and an angular resolution of 0.08° × 0.1°. The vehicle carries 27 sensors in total, including a 4-transmit-4-receive front-facing millimeter-wave radar (280 m range), two corner radars, 11 monitoring cameras (including an 8-megapixel front dual-camera setup), and 12 ultrasonic radars.
On the chip front, mid- and low-spec trims use the NVIDIA DRIVE Orin-Y (200 TOPS) to support highway NOA and memory parking. The top trim upgrades to the Thor-U (700 TOPS), the industry's first AI intelligent driving chip based on the Blackwell architecture. It supports end-to-end large models and multimodal VLA models without significant parameter trimming. The Thor-U setup offers full-featured door-to-door navigation assistance, covering the entire flow from parking activation and exit, traversing campus roads, and handling roundabouts, U-turns, and traffic lights on public roads, to final parking. NOA functionality covers 100% of cities and township roads, including provincial, county, village, and unmarked roads.
The cockpit runs on LYNK Flyme Auto 2.5, hardware-accompanied by a 10.2-inch digital cluster, a 15.4-inch central screen, and a 95-inch AR-HUD. A new physical Eva robot supports multi-scenario expressions and voice commands. Audio comes via a 23-speaker Harman Kardon system supporting 7.1.4 channels with 1,600 W of rated power, utilizing Quantum Logic Immersion 3D surround algorithms and AI bass management, tuned jointly by Lynk & Co, Harman Kardon, and QQ Music.
Space and versatility are core values for a wagon. The 07 GT offers a standard trunk volume of 614 liters (548 liters for AWD), including an 83-liter under-floor storage area, expanding to 1,665 liters (1,599 liters for AWD) with the rear seats folded. The tailgate opens to a height of 1,863 mm at a 72.5° angle, with a kick sensor activation distance of 60 cm. The roof rack handles 150 kg statically and 100 kg dynamically—25 kg more redundancy than the typical 75 kg limit of peers—capable of carrying a two-person hard-shell roof tent. An electric hidden tow hook allows a maximum towing mass of 1.6 tons with 64 kg of vertical load. It comes with factory-certified towing qualifications; once connected, Towing Mode automatically activates, adjusting ESP, adaptive cruise, and reverse camera settings.

Seating includes 12-way electric adjustment for the front, with a maximum backrest recline of 159°, plus heating, ventilation (up to 37 m³/h), and 8-point airbag massage. Rear backrests offer stepless electric adjustment between 119° and 129°. There are 36 storage spaces throughout the cabin, including a practical 7.7-liter "bridge" area under the center console. With the rear seats folded flat, the maximum depth reaches 1,853 mm, creating a space suitable for a double air mattress.
Structurally, the A and B pillars use 2,000 MPa hot-formed steel—over three times the strength of the steel used in Seawolf-class nuclear submarines. The front anti-collision beam is an Aerospace 7-series aluminum "Ri" (sun) shaped structure, improving energy absorption efficiency by 50% to 70% over ordinary steel. Combined with a 288 mm energy absorption box and a "clover" three-dimensional force path, the subframe and powertrain actively sink downward during a collision to prevent intrusion into the cabin.
Market-wise, the 07 GT slips into a less crowded niche with its pre-sale range of 165,800 to 185,800 yuan. Currently, there are few direct rivals in the 150,000 to 200,000 yuan wagon or shooting brake segment; competitors like the NIO ET5T and Zeekr 007 GT are generally priced above 200,000 yuan. By democratizing features like MRC suspension, LiDAR, and the EM-P hybrid system in this bracket, Lynk & Co aims to establish category definition rights before the segment's sales volume takes off.
Showroom units are arriving now, with the official market launch set for July. Starting in Q3, the 07 GT will represent the brand in rally events—an extreme test of chassis durability and powertrain reliability, and a move to verify the maturity of its technical system in a new motorsport dimension following its TCR dominance.
