Gasgoo Munich-On September 24 that Xiaomi Auto has unveiled the configuration details for its "Xiaomi SkyNomad" series. The release breaks down the spatial layout in "living room mode," options for front-row seating, ecosystem expansion ports, and the audio system's specific specifications and usage limitations.
In living room mode, the entire SkyNomad lineup allows front seats to slide back and face rearward—without requiring an empty trunk. Specs reveal the N70 series offers 1,687mm of face-to-face space with 662 liters of cargo room remaining. The N90 Max provides 1,760mm of space and a 480-liter trunk, while the N90 Max Exploration Edition offers 1,813mm of room alongside a 773-liter cargo area.
This flexibility is built on the Xiaomi Kunlun architecture's flat floor and extended sliding rails. Drivers can adjust seat positions freely and save these settings as custom scenarios for one-touch activation.
For front-row seating, rotating chairs and zero-gravity seats are mutually exclusive options. The N70 Pro, N70 Max, and N90 Max offer optional rotating front seats for 18,000 yuan, while the N90 Max Exploration Edition includes them as standard.
Xiaomi clarified that for safety reasons, the front seat rotation function operates only when the vehicle is parked in "P" gear. Additionally, those three models also offer optional zero-gravity front seats at the same 18,000 yuan price point.
Regarding external expansion and comfort, the entire SkyNomad series offers an electric side step with a maximum load capacity of 200 kg per side. The N70 Pro, N70 Max, and N90 Max come equipped with 12 ecosystem expansion ports across the vehicle and support roof rack installation.
On the audio front, the N70 Max, N90 Max, and N90 Max Exploration Edition come standard with the Xiaomi Starstring premium audio system. This setup features a 7.1.4 acoustic architecture with 25 speakers and a peak power of 4,890W. The tweeters use titanium diaphragms, while the 265mm subwoofer extends down to 18Hz, paired with Xiaomi's proprietary Nightingale algorithm and AI immersive audio.
