Gasgoo Munich-On July 8, Xiaomi EV officially announced a new series named "SkyNomad," without disclosing its Chinese name. Industry sources indicated the series will be part of Xiaomi's extended-range SUV lineup, with rumors suggesting the Chinese name "Xuntian." Trademark records show Xiaomi Corp. applied for the "Xuntian" trademark for vehicles on April 3, 2023. It later filed the "SKYNOMAD" trademark on November 15, 2024, covering automotive classifications.
The debut model, an extended-range SUV, carries the internal codename "Kunlun N3." It will not use the rumored "YU9" name and is scheduled for launch in the second half of 2026. The vehicle will not feature the main Xiaomi badge.
Xiaomi plans to introduce additional extended-range SUVs—codenamed Kunlun 10, Kunlun 20, and Kunlun 30—to expand its product lineup. Reports indicate the series includes a pop-up roof RV codenamed "Isle of Man." Positioned above the Kunlun line, this model targets premium outdoor travel.
Xiaomi EV has not released specifications, pricing, or launch dates for these models. Further details remain undisclosed.
