On the product front, XPENG plans to roll out five new models in Australia and New Zealand within six months, keeping pace with the Chinese market. The flagship X9 is now open for pre-orders, starting at AUD 89,900 in Australia and NZD 104,900 in New Zealand. The right-hand-drive MONA L03 is confirmed for a fourth-quarter 2026 launch, alongside the 2026 G6 and two yet-to-be-named models.
Regarding retail infrastructure, the automaker plans to establish three flagship experience centers and 50 sales outlets within six months, aiming to put a showroom within a 40-minute drive for customers in major states. Authorized dealerships are already in place across New South Wales, Victoria, Queensland, Western Australia, and South Australia, with several top-tier local dealers joining the network.
On the after-sales front, a factory parts warehouse in Melbourne operated by FedEx will enable next-day delivery to major states. XPENG is collaborating with AASRA to integrate the MVIS repair information system, eventually allowing owners to choose independent repair shops. Locally, the company offers a seven-year unlimited mileage warranty and round-the-clock roadside assistance.
In the realm of intelligent driving, the Turing AI system—featuring the second-generation VLA model—is set for a global rollout starting in 2027, with Australia among the first right-hand-drive markets. Internal testing for Robotaxi services has already begun, and XPENG has extended partnership invitations to local fleet operators.
Additionally, the IRON humanoid robot and a flying car were showcased at the event. IRON is scheduled for deployment in domestic stores in the first quarter of 2027, with overseas expansion to follow. The flying car has secured over 7,000 orders, and a factory capable of producing 10,000 units annually has been completed. Both products are supported by XPENG’s proprietary physical AI foundation.
