Developed for global markets, the G9L completed its first European trial production run at the Magna plant in Graz, Austria — a facility also building European luxury vehicles. The first European-spec G9L off the line will drive 1,324 km across borders to the Paris Motor Show, validating its ADAS, charging performance, and overall dynamics in real time.
Over a three-year global validation cycle, XPeng tested the G9L across 26 countries and regions, logging roughly 6.74 million km of road data and completing 192 crash tests. The SUV was engineered to simultaneously meet four major five-star safety standards, including Europe's E-NCAP and Australia's A-NCAP.
XPeng will also use the Paris Motor Show to display its full "physical AI" portfolio, spanning AI-defined vehicles, humanoid robots, and flying cars. The G9L's global debut signals a deeper shift for the company — moving beyond simple vehicle exports toward a localized overseas footprint encompassing product definition, manufacturing, and validation.
