Shanghai (Gasgoo)- XPENG and the Guangdong Branch of the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC) formally signed a strategic cooperation agreement on Jan. 6 at the XPENG Technology Park.

Under the agreement, ICBC's Guangdong Branch will provide XPENG with a 10 billion yuan credit line. The funds will be earmarked for financing, international operations and cash management, fully supporting XPENG's day-to-day operations and strategic development. The partnership reflects ICBC's recognition of XPENG's corporate strength and growth potential, and is expected to further bolster the company's financial stability and flexibility.
He Xiaopeng, XPENG's chairman and CEO, emphasized that the company will continue to expand investment in Zhaoqing. He expects the strategic pact to serve as a springboard to fuse finance and technology, jointly build a smart-mobility ecosystem, and support China's self-reliant advancement in science and technology.
XPENG's first self-built vehicle manufacturing base globally, located in the Zhaoqing High-tech Zone, now has throughput averaging one new car rolling off the line every 90 seconds. The MONA M03 — a benchmark A-segment pure EV — is produced at this intelligent manufacturing hub. As a leading player in intelligent electric vehicles, XPENG continues to deepen its technology roadmap in intelligence and electrification, and has launched multiple original models for both domestic and overseas markets. For the full year 2025, XPENG delivered 429,445 vehicles — up 126% from a year earlier; overseas deliveries reached 45,008, up 96% — underscoring strong global expansion momentum.
Looking ahead, XPENG will keep ramping up R&D in physical AI and core vehicle manufacturing technologies, while improving its sales and service network at home and abroad — accelerating its evolution toward a global embodied-intelligence company and a physical-AI mobility explorer. The deeper collaboration with ICBC is set to inject crucial momentum into the next phase of scaled growth.
