Gasgoo Munich- More than 20 executives from Prospira's assembly division—including representatives from the U.S., Japan, Thailand, India, and Germany—recently visited Zhongding Wangjin in Chengdu for a three-day deep dive and on-site inspection, according to a report by Gasgoo. The two sides announced plans to tighten their strategic coordination and jointly push into global markets.
A subsidiary of Zhongding Group, Zhongding Wangjin specializes in automotive vibration damping systems and lightweight chassis components, boasting mature capabilities in precision manufacturing and localized delivery. Prospira, a supplier of vibration damping systems, operates across major auto markets including Japan, the U.S., Thailand, and India, bringing deep expertise in system integration and overseas project management.

On the topic of market strategy and global expansion, the two parties analyzed industry trends, market share, and potential project opportunities in key overseas regions like India, Japan, and the U.S., discussing the necessity of cross-regional cooperation. Drawing on experience with benchmark domestic clients and combining it with Prospira's actual overseas projects, they exchanged best practices and operational models to guide future global collaboration.
The global automotive supply chain is undergoing a profound adjustment, with Chinese parts makers shifting their internationalization paths from traditional export trade toward localized, systematic operations. In recent years, Zhongding Group has been driving a transition from "scale-oriented globalization" to "deep internationalization."
Looking ahead, Zhongding aims to move away from a fragmented approach—where individual companies operate independently—toward a unified top-level strategy deployed by headquarters. This involves clarifying priorities for global target markets, integrating overseas resources, and deepening local market penetration. By enhancing lean manufacturing capabilities, driving joint innovation, and boosting cross-regional efficiency, the company plans to deliver more efficient and convenient global services to its clients.
