Beijing (Gasgoo)- On January 3, autonomous driving chip supplier Black Sesame Technologies announced its strategic cooperation with SAIC Motor-backed spatial data provider Heading Data Intelligence ("Heading Data") for intelligent connected vehicle development.

The duo will leverage their innovative technologies based on high-precision maps and smart chips, put in joint efforts in the intelligent connected vehicles, C-V2X, and smart transportation aspects, as well as accelerate the technologies’ scale application.
The cooperation specifies that Black Sesame Technologies and Heading Data will carry out in-depth cooperative product development in the aspects of perception algorithm, fusion positioning, etc., aiming at different scenarios such as traffic governance and highway operation, to create a vehicle-road-cloud integrated ecosystem.
Through the cooperation, the duo eyes such targets as promoting the mass application of C-V2X technology, developing products for intelligent connected vehicles, C-V2X, and smart city infrastructure, as well as jointly building platform-level closed-loop data solutions.
In April 2022, Heading Data set up a C-V2X product solution project "Shu Zhi Yan", which translated to digital intelligent eyes. The solution integrates Black Sesame Technologies’ chip and basic computing platform with Heading Data’s tracking, fusion, and map engine algorithm, creating intelligent connected and digital intelligence twin applications. Currently, the solution has been tested in Fujian, Jiangsu, and other provinces, and was officially launched to the market on January 3.
